Christmas in China is a holiday both like and unlike other typical Chinese celebrations. On one hand, it gives people an excuse to exercise their consumer habits, and on the other hand some people treat it as the religious holiday that it is. However, it’s role and popularity amongst Chinese youth is something that we will be examining this week. Is there any cultural backlash to this holiday?
